Okay the first one I was really nervous on. I don't think it went to well they thought I was over qualified and under qualified at the same time. I know that sounds strange but with all of my background they thought I could do the job but they didn't think I had that much phone coverage and that maybe I wouldn't like the job. They will get back to me I think tomorrow to let me know one way or the other.
The second interview was tonight and that I think went a little better but I still don't think it went so well. They are interviewing a lot of people of this one position. Since I don't know outlook the gentleman told me to brush up on it and check over issue's people have also to brush up a little more on Excel and Word. They should know sometime next week. The candidate will then have to go and meet with them again and then go and meet with the actual employee. Which could be rough. He says one person will ask you technical questions and the other one will ask you personnel questions. I have never been good with explaining myself or how to do something. Yes I can sit down take notes and type them up but I am not really good at telling people.
In the meantime I got a call for an AS400 operator position so I have a interview tomorrow for that job.
So now I have 2 interviews under my belt so I feel a little better. Two of the jobs are Temp jobs with not sure if they will keep you longer etc. The other job is 90 days trial then they could hire you or have you work temp longer.
The good thing is all of them are within 15 to 20 minutes from house. So to me all of them are a plus :) I don't have high expectations about any of them well maybe the one tomorrow the Operator since I have been doing that for 15 years but if I don't get anything I am happy that someone called just for an interview. It gives me hope that something is out there for me.
Seriously this weekend I will type up these books while I am surfing the internet to find issue's with outlook (whether I get the job or not I am finding the few companies I have talked to that is what they are using so it won't hurt to learn something new).
